Principle of continuity and human societyPrinciple of continuity is the common principle. So it must be implemented not only in science but in human society too. What does it mean for human and for mankind?
The main display of principle of continuity for certain person is desire to prolong its own life. It is the base of every person’s behavior. Aspiration for survival is the main reason of great majority of our actions. But it is aspiration not for only survival, but for improvement of our life too.
The second display is wish to have children. We can consider it as aspiration for prolongation of our life by means of our children. In case of critical circumstances human can sacrifice his life for the sake of children. Many of our actions are based on this reason.
Human is a social organism and seeks to survive together with friends, neighbors, relatives and nationals. And we too give consideration to this problem. Human feels himself as a part of all mankind. Some of our actions can be explained by means of this idea.
So let’s make an important conclusion. Survival is the main aim of human. It can be divided into four subaims. And the most effective are that actions, which benefit his children, friends, relatives and mankind in whole.
Order of enumeration doesn’t assign importance of every aim. All depends on concrete situation. My be donating the life makes sense.
This implies second very important conclusion. General welfare is advantageous for everybody. It increases his and his relationship chance of survival. You must always remember about it. If you doubt in rightness of this statement, than you doubt that it is good for you when it is good for you. Think a bit and you understand that it is really so.
But good life isn’t only good food and clothes, comfort and safe house, interesting and easy job, good health etc. All these life delights can be a dream of, for example, a dog, which masters are reach and attentive. THE MAIN AIM OF HUMAN IS INTELLECTUAL DEVELOPMENT.
Let’s explain why it is so. Human won’t develop his intellect without desire. And what can happen with us without such desire?
Of course, principle of continuity will force its way through the future in any case. But there won’t be that people who don’t desire to develop their intellect. You can say that we will die, so let others think about future. I remind you that all our conclusions are based on the PRINCIPLE OF CONTINUITY. And it is confirmed permanently. So I can say that we are immortal although it can make scientists shudder. Of course we are mortal as combination of known substances, energies and interactions. That is our chemical-physical biological essences are mortal. But I’m sure that we don’t know major part of information about ourselves. Later we will discuss this subject in details. But now let’s speak about reasonableness and intellect.
All mankind can disappear or considerably decrease level of its intellect as a result of any global catastrophe. May be such events had happen yet. But there is another danger. Most people always don’t think about sense of their actions. They push buttons without understanding reasons of responses of devices and mechanisms. Human’s role boils down to the role of eating robots. Sometimes people don’t know meanings of the words they use. And the most terrible fact is that they don’t want to know it. People feel no difference between fact and opinion. It all may result in degradation of collective abilities of mankind. In case of appearance of real (or fictional) threat outside, all may result in autocide and self-destruction. Alcohol, drugs and gamemania suit the role of such threat. But mistakes in genetic engineering and epidemic eruptions are possible too.
But let’s stop speaking about sad. Principle of continuity is reliable arm against all these things.
Some words about God.
Let’s imply principle of continuity to the conception of mind. Human has mind. It is fact. Many people think that animals have intellect.
Human consists of organs and systems of organs. We can’t ignore mind of our organs and systems of organs. But it is a little different mind. We can’t affirm that it is better or worse, it is other, but it exists. Organs are composed of tissues, tissues are composed of cells. Of course cells have their on mind too. I want to notice that it is not other mind. It is the same mind that we have, but it is displayed weaker. Although mind of cells is only a part of common human’s mind, one isn’t less than other.
Do you want to see evidence of their equivalence? Here it is. Can the particular be equal to the whole? Let’s consider infinite set of all integral numbers and separate out only that numbers, which are divisible by three. Second set is only a part of first one, but it is infinite too. So we can’t say that second set is less than first. In mathematic it is called power. That is mind of human is mind of larger power than mind of cell.
Principle of continuity doesn’t let us to provide with mind only living organisms and so we continue. Cells consist of molecules; molecules consist of atoms etc. till obscure depths of matter. And all these particles own their own minds. And without such minds our mind won’t exist too.
Here is quotation from chemistry textbook *(3). “In case of real spontaneous process, including chemical reactions, irregularity of Universe increases”. But what do we see around us? Even inorganic Universe is rather organized. So we can suppose that this process is not spontaneous. And it is prompted from inside, beginning with mind of every smallest particle and finishing with the humans mind (I think you won’t agree that somebody else rules us).
Electron’s mind for example may consist in its attraction to the atom and repulsing other electrons. But what is the reason except mind of this action? Electrons always and everywhere behave like this.
Let’s sum up all aforesaid about mind. EVERYTHING IN THE WORLD HAS ITS OWN MIND. Now let’s make equation:
MIND is DIVINITY.
Result is wonderful. But its logicality affirms its strict conformity. So w can make a conclusion that all religions and cults are right in their own way. But all religions think that god is the part of something else. All religions are right pointing at existence of something divine, but they make mistakes pointing direction. God is everywhere and meanwhile he is nowhere. But divinity (mind) is the property of everything around us. So when you refuse to develop your mind, you increase your divinity and become more and more similar with animals.
How can we make people to develop their minds?
1. The first step is elimination of our fear of poverty. When man is afraid of something he can’t think. Of course in the first place it is economic problem.
2. No less than previous. It is necessary to show people that every word of every language has its own mind too. Saying more specifically every word has its own sense. And there is great necessary to make sense of the word clear for everybody. If you think that all words are not any more than meaningless label and letter combinations have no relation to the sense, than read very interesting book about it *(9). I insist on your reading this book.
3. There is such condition which I call an intellectual orgasm. If you didn’t fell it I advise you to try. It is mightier than usual orgasm. I can’t explain what it is. As explanation of condition of usual orgasm to person who never feels it.
About aspiration for good.
We can write many beautiful and clever words about morality. But I think that it is more reasonable to show unprofitableness of breaking these rules. Principle of continuity helps us. You need to realize that every injustice which you perform returns to you.
If you won’t make such conclusion, than no one of my phrases and logical construction will change your opinion. It is necessary to implement principle of continuity in day-to-day activity. It can discover huge abilities for mankind in technical progress and development of the mind. Later I will make some examples of implementation of this principle.
